The refrigerator is a small hotel style when we were expecting a regular fridge. There had been central air that was no longer operating and had been replaced by a window unit in the front room and none in the bedroom. Upon entry it was obvious that the owners were not interested in maintenance. We checked in and got a 1 bedroom floating cabin. After all that, there is absolutely no way I would recommend this place to anyone! If zero stars was an option that is what I would have selected. Her next lap around she said no more than two vehicles at a camp spot, there was only 3. We was not blocking anything and was not even on the road in which the vehicles travel. She got out once and told us to move our vehicle. We of course were hanging out with the rest of our family. So right after the refund taken place, this lady was "policing" the camper spots. My family that weekend had several camper spots rented and we did have a cabin rental. After that there was a lady in the campground, who I assume was a manager, that was very rude. Almost immediately, this nasty cabin was posted that it was available. They did give me a refund, but I had to send them the photos. I took pictures of all the filth and took it to the office. There was hair all in the floor, some gum, dead bugs, and crumb like particles. The bed frame had all kind of this down in it. The mini fridge had not been cleaned, and there were small dead bugs in the handle as well. ![]() ![]() The sofa was horribly stained and ripping. ![]() There were mouse droppings along the base boards and in the mattress of the sleeper sofa. Upon walking in all you could feel was utter disgust. The recently "renovated" cabin was actually only painted on the outside.The inside was a filthy mess. The grounds are not maintained as well as it used to be. It has changed hands some years back and it shows. This was a place we used to often visit years ago. Definitely would not recommend until some major upgrades are completed!! The Marina is only open if you walk to the office first and tell them you need something. ![]() NOT worth the money whatsoever!!! We had to leave early as Hurricane Delta was approaching and were told that the owners NEVER give refunds (oh yes, you pay for the entire stay as soon as you arrive) so there went 3 nights for 2 cabins $894 lost. We rented a double pontoon boat for a day, the seats were all ripped up! The depth finder didn’t function. Painful backs and hips!! And the loveseat is broken down so can’t/won’t sit on that, that leaves 3 wooden kitchen chairs to sit on. Full sized that slope to the middle, popping springs all night long. WOW, not pleasant at all! Oh my, almost forgot to mention the beds. The showers are very small, I had called to ask about whether my Mother would be able to use it as she uses a walker, no way could she be in there! If you turn around you hit the faucet and change the temperature. We cleaned as soon as we arrived (not sure why we were charged cleaning fees). As your can see the floor was separating, the dorm size refrigerator was frozen over, the air conditioners have mold and debris in them so they don’t function properly, the bugs and cobwebs on the deck could certainly use a very good pressure washing, yep that is the inside of our microwave totally rusted out and the final picture is the bathroom sink. We were in floating cabins 1 & 2, the pictures are cabin 1. We just left there, trying to do a family reunion.
